Croc Steady — speculative Crocs × Rock Steady Crew concept

Croc Steady — speculative Crocs × Rock Steady Crew concept

The project

Spec work for Crocs ahead of the 2024 Olympics, where breakdancing made its debut. I partnered with an ACD on a campaign idea focused on the story of breakdancing’s arrival in France through the legendary Rock Steady Crew’s impact on the 1982 New York Rap Tour.

The idea

Celebrate the French connection to hip-hop dance. Rock Steady Crew brought breakdancing to France on the first major international hip-hop tour.

Execution

I pitched a limited-edition Croc Echo Storm paired with a docuseries of founding member Ken Swift reflecting on the global breakthrough of b-boying. The proposed launch was July 26—Opening Ceremony for the Paris Olympics and Rock Steady Crew Day in NYC.

My role

Partnered with an ACD and pitched the limited-edition product and docuseries concept.
